The A.D. Makepeace Company is the world’s largest cranberry grower and the largest private property owner in Massachusetts. To provide an updated accounting of its 150-year history, mission, and entrepreneurial spirit, Monderer Design created a new visual personality for the company’s brochure and corporate website.
The challenge was to position Makepeace as an innovator in cranberry cultivation technology and a cutting-edge real estate developer, while reflecting an abiding respect for natural resources and history. The oversized brochure presents Makepeace’s place in its community, emphasizing a previously untold story of corporate philanthropy, community service, and often, costly environmental protection efforts. Monderer designed an elegant and warm brochure and website that unify the A.D. Makepeace Company’s communications efforts and complex personality.
